VANESSA - Since 2003
I am a qualified dental assistant but i am the chief receptionist- the heart of the practice. I love working with people and making them happy. It is a privilege for me to work with Dr Botha and I do my best to schedule patients in such a manner that nobody‘s time is wasted-not an easy task but I love the challenge and have been doing this in Dr Botha’s practice for the past 14 years.
SARIE
I got the responsibility looking after the finances of the whole practice and making sure that everything runs smoothly. I also do all the medical aid payments. To be healthy is my passion, and it works well to make sure the “Boss” is in good condition! Being a qualified dietitian helps a lot to keep blood pressure within a healthy range, which is very good for interpersonal relationships at the practice and at home as well!
ANNELIE - Since 2013
I am a Dental Assistant and typist in Dr. Botha’s practice. My main duty is to look after our new patients. I also do Dr Botha’s quotations as well as the typing of his dental reports to referring dentists. This is my 17th year in Orthodontics and I still enjoy the interaction with patients and to experience the satisfaction of all involved after the treatment is completed.
HETTIE - Since 2007
I am still proud to be one of the “A” team after joining the practice 9 years ago. All financial enquiries and discussions are handled by me and it is my duty to keep the financial wheel running, all the time. I enjoy my work and it is a pleasure to be of service to the wonderful people that have treatment with us.
JERRY - Since 1990
I started as a delivery man but became a full member of the team over the past number of years. This makes me the longest serving member of the team. I make sure that the mail goes out and the practice is neat and tidy. I do my work with pride because I enjoy it. It is a pleasure to be of service to staff and patients with a cup of coffee/tea and a smile.;-)

RENEÉ - Since 2002
I qualified at the University of Stellenbosch as an Oral Hygienist. I have been working in an orthodontic practice for the past 25 years- the last 14 years with Dr Botha. It is very satisfactory to see how patients grow from often shy and timid children to confident young adults once the treatment is completed. We try to create a relaxed atmosphere without sacrificing attention to detail and I enjoy interacting with patients and parents.
SELINA - Since 2007
I am a qualified assistant maintaining the flow and assisting with patients under treatment as well as with new patients. I help with the records and post and organize it on the computer. I love working with people and helping were I can. The neatness of the rooms is part of my responsibilities. Work is my pleasure, I enjoy every moment!
TRUDIE - Since 1992
After being part of a team improving people’s lives for the past 25 years, I still find my energy from the positive impact orthodontics have on their lives. I cannot think of a single person that regretted treatment after the result had been reviewed. Interacting with people, wanting to improve their quality of live on a regular basis is a blessing. Patients become friends and together we reach life changing goals. As one spends most of your time at work, work becomes a playground for the game that you play!
